After Ted’s 1978 English-language album Blue Virgin Isles, recorded in Los Angeles, he represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest the following year. Just a few years later Ted withdrew from the music business for more than a decade, returning to Polar with the 1994 album Äntligen på väg, his final release before his untimely death in 1997.
